Both motorcycles received aesthetic upgrades, enhanced electronics, and suspension. The BMW F 900 R and F 900 XR feature improved ergonomics, allowing more agile handling in twisty terrain.
These two F Series models are available with new upside-down telescopic forks with 43mm slider tube diameter, adjustable damping rebound, compression damping, and spring preload. The new BMW F 900 XR and F 900 R come with 17-inch cast aluminum wheels that weigh less than the previous models.
BMW F 900 XR features optimized aerodynamics, offering elevated touring capability and long-distance comfort with luggage. Riders experience greater riding comfort and less helmet vibration thanks to the redesigned wind deflector, which reduces wind pressure. Similarly, the available hand protectors provide improved protection from wind and weather.
BMW Motorrad offers the Headlight Pro as a standard feature on the F 900 XR, featuring a daytime running light and adaptive headlight for improved safety during night rides. The heated grips and USB–C charging port on the right-hand side of the cockpit with a 2.4 maximum charging current are other new standard features available to the BMW F 900 XR.Â
The BMW F 900 R is a potent motorcycle that delivers great performance. This dynamic Roadster motorcycle has the tried-and-tested two-cylinder in-line engine with 895 cc capacity and 77kW (105 bhp) of power output, the same as the F 900 XR. It delivers a full-bodied torque curve in the new Euro 5+ homologation. The new BMW F 900 R features an adjustable rebound, compression damping, and spring preload. Its new standard ABS Pro and Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) ensure greater safety when braking on every journey, particularly in bends.
