The 2003 BMW R 1100 S Boxer Cup Replica is a standout model for several reasons. It was released to commemorate BMW's involvement in the Boxer Cup, a racing series that featured the R 1100 S.
This limited edition bike is unit 197 / 200
The R 1100 S is powered by a 1,085 cc air/oil-cooled flat-twin engine, commonly known as the "Boxer" engine. It delivers around 98 horsepower and 78 lb-ft of torque. While these figures might not seem explosive by modern standards, the engine is known for its character and torque-rich performance. It provides a strong and engaging ride, with a linear power delivery.
The R 1100 S is a well-engineered machine with a reputation for reliability. Regular maintenance is key to keeping the Boxer engine in good shape; a durable and long-lasting bike.
This is a single spark, non-ABS R 1100 S with the upgraded laser exhaust, aftermarket headers and the limited edition badge, that did not come on all of the 2003 bikes.
Service up to date including engine oil & filter, adjust valves, replace spark plugs, sync throttle bodies, replace air filter, replace generator belt.
This bike also has the original mirrors that are as much as $500 to buy now if they were not on the bike.
